Adapting to the new eBay

As rates rise, sellers will be forced to either tighten the grosses or raise their prices. Ultimately, there will be price inflation on eBay. You can see the price difference between eBay items and Amazon items. Amazon charges more and things are sold for a higher price on Amazon. As the rates rise, sellers will need to watch their numbers and make sure they are raising their prices accordingly. Those who don't raise their prices will either have to tighten their belts or risk financial problems. I think 90% of what is sold on eBay is sold at very marginal profit margins so most major sellers will need to adapt as the fees change.
