There are many tools to teach grade schoolers math. One of the best proven methods are using game type products to generate an interest. There is number of game out there the use basic math concepts, from Chutes and Ladders (counting drills) to kenenic number puzzles (where you figure out the sequence to equal the sums).There are (if you look hard enough ) games like Fraction Bros. Circus is a playing board which a clown is juggling balls and the players fill the balls up to earn points and win the game.
However the hot ticket math game is sudoku which uses a series of numbers (usually 1 to 9) to form cubes. These can be found in your local paper, now even puzzle books are decicated to sudku puzzle. These books gee in various levels from beginner to advance.
So try out some of these suggestions and improve yours as well as your students' math skills.
