Individual, Flare or Cluster Lashes Knot or Knot free

Individual, Flare or Cluster lashes are one in the same. Your choices are synthetic or sanitized human hair, the color - black, brow, silver, gold and so on, the length can be listed in mm or under, short, medium and long.. These lashes are gemonly sold in a tray that hold 56 to 60 lashes depending on the manufacturer. The packaging can very - from no package, box or plastic case
this is a picture is of Synthetic flare lashes that have a knot. If you look closely you can see how flare is not tappered.

Flare Long Blacktry of 60 lashes and the packaging in a plastic try.

this a picture ofKnot Free Flare Long Black

Back in 1987 when I was taking my training to be an esthetician these lashes were called Individual lashes. I have since learned that they are also referred to or know as Individual, Flare and or Cluster lashes.
Then I learned I had a choice of knot or knot free. I have gee to understand that these products are a personal preference, depending on the service you are offering.
I then learned that some professional prefer sanitized human hair lases because they feel it interacts with the glue better than the synthetic lashes.
Flare lashes is a service that once you are proficient at it, it only takes 20 to 30 minutes per client. This service is less time consuming so the price for this service is cheaper than Eyelash Extensions. Offering both serviceswill make you a more full service eyelash technician. The more services you have to offer the wider range of cliental you will appeal to.
If you do eyelash extensions you know that once in awhile you will gee across a client that is missing a few lashes, leaving a hole in their lash line. You can use the Individual, Flare or Cluster lashes to fill in the space.
Some clients want a more fullness to their lash line but amount of the lashes they have make it impossible to meet the objective with eyelash extensions a lone. The individual, flare or cluster lashes can help you meet your clients needs.
I hope this information has been helpful. Thank you for your time.

Magazine Subscriptions WATCH OUT For s Sellers!

Most magazine subscritions on okay are selling for unathorized prices. Buying from these sellers who are selling subscriptions for just a few dollars is very risky! Magazine publishers DO NOT allow their magazines to be sold for a few dollars. There are rules that magazine sellers must follow, and if they don't follow these rules they will have their accounts cancelled. This means you may not get your magazine, and will probably never get your money back either!Contact the seller before ever buying a magazine from them, to make sure their prices fall within the Publisher's rules. If they don't give you the right answer or you feel like they're lying, look elsewhere. Don't risk your money on a super-cheap magazine subscription. It might never ever get to you because publishers are really starting to crack down on unauthorized prices.

How to buy a Cowboy Hat or ANYTHING else as well!

I discovered that through a little bit of due diligence, you can avoid overpaying for many things you buy on okay. For example, I saw some hats displayed for sale on a sellers page for $220. What a great deal, right? The seller says they retail value at $335! I really should take advantage of this. I thought to myself, WOW these brand spanking new, unworn and mint condition hats are awesome and I can get it for $115 off the retail value! I would love to have one for myself. However, they did not have the hat in the color that I wanted. So I went to the website of a gepany that sells them (which happens to be THE authorized dealer of these products-The Texas Ranger Museum) to get more information about the hat and the colors available. The site is the official site and origination of the product (the hat) and had more colors available for sale. Then, I noticed that the price, (at the originating site) was selling the identical hat (with additional colors, styles etc. as well) for $150 ($70 less than the asking seller was selling them for on okay.) Same shipping charge directly from the home of the Texas Rangers, Waco Texas. Anyway, do your homework BEFORE you buy. DUE DILIGENCE.Thanks for reading! Good luck.

Tin Toy Airplanes: Constellations

The Constellation was a verystreamlined and well-engineered airliner that originated as a World War Two transport. Examples served in airline and military service into the early 1970s.
A Constellation's chief recognition feature was its tail, which included three oval vertical stabilizers. Four Wright radial piston engines provided power. This power increasedas the plane design evolved into the Super Constellation and then the Starliner.
Toy designers chose this plane as a subject often because it was graceful and luxurious. The examples below, some favorites from my personal collection, were made in Western Germany and Japan from the middle 1950s through the early 1960s.

In the late 1950s West Germany's Arnold made one of the nicest looking Super Constellations, with a 19 1/2" wingspan. The above example is KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, but a variety of other airline colors can be found. It features tin body and wings with plastic propellers and rubber tires.

Tipp and gepany of West Germany producedSuper Constellations with 19 1/2" wingspans. These could be friction or battery powered, with or without wing lights. Both toys have tin bodies and wings, and rubber tires. The Lufthansa plane has a die cast nose wheel strut and plastic engine pods.

Japan's Alps Shoji issued this very pretty Northwest Super Constellation with an 18" wingspan, friction powered, with wing tip tanks. The body and wings are tin; the tires are rubber.

Above left: This Japanese-made Eastern Air Lines "Constellation"is an adaptation of another toy airplane. It has a 15" wingspan and twin friction motors. Its body, wings and props are all tin; the tires rubber. At right, a smaller sized Eastern Constellation has a 12" wingspan. Once again, even the propellers are tin. The manufacturer was Japan's Nikko Gangu Kogyo in the 1950s. Note the grossly oversized nose wheels. This example is a friction toy. A battery example existswith jet engines below the wings! This feature was purely imaginary.

Tomiyama of Japan issued these very nice Super Constellations in the middle 1950s. They are tin with rubber tires. The wingspan is just under a foot.

Above left: Trans World Airlines referred toits Starliner model of the Constellation as the "Jetstream." Japan's Yonezawa issued this rather smallTWA Jetstream, with a 10" wingspan, around 1960. It is tin with plastic propellers and rubber tires. Many toy manufacturers attached tail wheels to friction toy planes for better balance during "revving." The tail strut and wheel is missing from this example. At right: the US Air Force's RC-121D early warning Connie used the same mold. Note the radome attached to the upperfuselage, amidships.

cheaper, more effective flea control

I would regemend using Revolution as opposed to other flea treatments. Revolution offers a lot more to your pet in one dose; in dogs revolution will also provide monthly heartworm protection, in cats it kills ear mites and many kinds of worms. Revolution may cost more at the vet but it is a much better value. You can buy it very cheaply on okay and websites like canadavet.ge.I have 16 cats of my own and 1 dog and we are flea free!

Stain Fighters!

I dont know about you, but I have kids that stain mine

Using The Preference Area

There are a lot of options when buying, selling, and just in general on
okay. The Preference area has tons of options that can make your
experince on okay a great one.

How to find the Preference area

Luggage Buying Guide

Don't waste your time trying to buy luggage in a store. We've all been there, the department store's luggage section, a portion relegated to a small corner in the back, staffed by employees who know little or nothing about the meager selection of pieces they do carry. Sit back, relax, and let us help you make an informed decision on what to purchase.
Trying out luggage in a store certainly gives you a great idea on how the luggage feels and moves. A store gives you the option to get to know the luggage first hand and check that it has all of the features you are looking for. However if you knew what you were looking for, you wouldn't have to be at the store in person to know your getting a quality piece of luggage.

Categories of Luggage
Suitcases and Pullmans: When people think of luggage this is generally the first category that gees to mind. These luggage pieces gee in a variety of sizes and construction types, each type having its own unique design elements and functions.
Suitcase Constructions

Hard Sided: If you are looking to provide you items with maximum security and safety then this is what you are looking for. These cases are constructed of metals and hard molded plastics, with strong durable frames that can handle almost any wear and tear. The downside of hard-sided luggage is that they are heavy and bulky.
Soft-Sided: These bags expand easily and are lightweight and highly portable; however they may not provide the same amount of impact or theft protection that a hard-sided case can.
Semi-Soft: A perfect gebination of the hard-sided and soft-sided pieces, semi-soft luggage provides you the advantages of lightweight, expandable luggage without sacrificing construction and a solid frame.
Totes and Casual Bags

These are probably the most widely used and versatile bags in use today. Totes and casual bags gee in a huge variety of shapes, colors and sizes. All you have to do is pick a favorite color, fabric, and choose a size and you will be able to find a tote or casual bag for nearly any use. One not of caution, if you plan on carrying a lot of items, particularly heavy ones, it would be beneficial to choose a bag that has strong handles with reinforced stitching. Handles that are attached using an extra piece of material inside of the bag, as opposed to the bag directly, will tend to be more sturdy. If you are uncertain, look to see if the bag has a listed weight capacity.
Garment Bags and Carriers: Whether you are taking a short business trip, traveling to a formal function, or just like the ability to travel with your clothes on hangers the garment bag is what you are looking for. As a rule of thumb a garment bag is usually designed to carry a few pieces while a garment carrier is designed to carry around ten pieces. However this is not always the case, so pay close attention to the manufacturer's product description.
Garment bags and carriers gee in a variety of styles, the primary being bi-fold, tri-fold, and rolling. The bi-fold and tri-fold garment bag are easy to place in overhead gepartments and can be hung easily upon arrival to your chosen destination. Rolling garment bags and carriers are easy to move, and require less effort when transporting; however they are larger and will usually need to be checked.
Other things to consider when purchasing a garment bag or carrier are whether or not the bag gees with hangers, and if these hangers are stationary or removable and the number of straps inside of the bag. If the hangers inside of the garment bag are removable it will make moving your clothes from you closet to the bag to another closet or hook very simple, and you can usually use your own hangers as well. Also, the more straps a garment bag has to immobilize your clothing, the less chance of the pieces begeing wrinkled during travel.
Business and geputer Cases: Business bags, attaches, geputer bags and cases and briefcases gee in a variety of sizes, colors and materials. When purchasing one of these bags you will need to make sure it is large enough to fit your files as well as your geputer size. In addition to the standard contents, many of these bags are now designed with special gepartments for CD and MP3 players, PDAs, and other sensitive devices. If you are purchasing a bag to hold a geputer it is important that you check to make sure that the bag will not only hold your size geputer, but that it has an adequate weight capacity.
Sport and Duffel Bags: If you are looking for the ideal way to carry your sporting or outdoor equipment, these bags are designed with you in mind. Sports bags and duffels are designed to withstand a lot of wear and tear and are generally constructed of strong materials that expand easily and resist tearing and fraying. Many of these items are also waterproof or water resistant. When choosing a duffel bag, it may be beneficial to look for a bag that has both a shoulder strap and two center handles, for more carrying options.
Backpacks and Messenger Bags: Backpacks and messenger bags have gee a long way since their original use by busy bicycle messengers carting items over cobblestone streets. They gee in an endless array of shapes, sizes, colors and fabrics, so before purchasing one sit down and decide exactly what you will be using it for. If it is going to be used as an everyday bag you will want to go with a stronger bag with lots of gepartments for you items. If it will only be used occasionally a standard bag with one or two large main gepartments will probably suite you best.
Pet Carriers: These days people are increasingly making the choice to bring their pets with them on vacation. Like most bags, pet carriers gee in a variety of styles ranging from fashionable to practical, the primary questions you need to ask yourself when purchasing one is weight capacity. It is imperative you pets safety that you purchase a bag with the correct weight capacity. Whatever mode of transportation you are using to travel, make sure to check their pet policy ahead of time.
Industrial Travel Cases: If you need to transport expensive items such as instruments, cameras, tools, guns, or audio and visual equipment you have gee to the right place. We carry a wide range of durable and safe industrial cases, all you need to decide is what you want to carry and in what conditions.
Travel Accessories: Travel accessories include toiletries and vanity bags as well as travel wallets, and luggage organizers. These items will help you to organize the insides of your luggage, making everything easily accessible while maximizing precious space, enabling you to bring more with you, and spend less time looking for your stuff and more time seeing the sights.
Luggage Fabrics and Materials

Leather: The manufactures of luggage often choose to use leather in the construction of their bags. Leather gees in a variety of forms and there is a broad spectrum of quality, durability, texture and price.
Types of Leather

Genuine Leather: Sometime referred to as full-grain leather, is constructed from the best natural materials, using natural hides that have not been sanded. The grain is not altered in anyway, providing a strong, durable, breathable leather. Genuine leather will age better than other leathers, and will develop a natural, unique patina or shine with use.
Top Grain: Sometimes referred to as corrected-grain leather has been stamped and sanded and painted. While the natural grain has been removed, and the leather is genuinely heavily painted, it is still a great quality for the price.
Suede: Suede is inferior to both genuine leather and top grain leather, in terms of quality, but superior in price. Suede is heavily treated on both sides and oftentimes manufactures will mix additives into one side of the suede to make it appear as if top-grain leather.
Fabrics: Fabrics are artificial materials that can be constructed of natural or artificial fibers which have been joined together in some fashion.
Fabric

Nylon:Nylon is a highly versatile and gemon artificial fabric that is lightweight, strong, and durable. Ballistic Nylon, which was originally developed by the United States Department of Defense, is widely regarded as the toughest, strongest, most durable nylon on the market.
Ripstop Nylon: Alightweight, water repellent version of nylon that has numerous interwoven reinforcement threads which creates a form of nylon that is highly resistant to tearing and fraying.
Other Fabrics: While leather and nylon are two of the most popular choices for luggage material, they are by no means the only choices. You will often find bags made of twill, cotton, Microfiber, plastic and metals. When deciding amongst these other materials your primary concern, after personal preference of course, should be durability, strength, color and weight. While natural fibers such as cotton and twill tend to weight less than other materials, you sacrifice some of the strength and durability associated with heavier fabrics.

Luggage Color and Weight
Color: If you are going to highly populated city with a high volume airport you may want to consider buying a brighter piece of luggage. It will stand out more and make baggage claim a whole lot smoother. If you are ungefortable with a highly recognizable bag, think about purchasing a unique ID tag or luggage strap. These will enable you to identify your bag, while also provided an additional function.
Weight: How much does your luggage weigh? Airlines have strict weight requirements for both carry on and checked baggage, you should be aware of how much your bag weighs before packing, as the fees for overweight luggage are quite high, and in some airlines will not accept an overly heavy bag at all. Consider buying a piece with an incorporated scale, it should automatically take the luggage's weight into account while enabling you to avoid weight overage charges. If the bag you like doesn't have a scale incorporated, just use any standard home scale to weigh your bag before you head out. Remember airlines are not the only ones with weight restrictions, train and busses also have rules in this area, so call ahead.

Luggage Hardware and Features
Edges: From transportation to and from your destination to baggage screening to bellhop service, your luggage is going to go through a lot. It is important to purchase a bag with solid edge construction. The number of different edge options can be daunting, so just try and purchase luggage that has a well defined edge, preferably where the edges are constructed of a heavy duty plastic or metal, as these will fair better than bags that are entirely made of fabric.
Handles: The most used and most often overlooked feature when purchasing luggage is the handle. Handles need to be strong and functional, yet easy to use. When looking at handles try and determine if it is attached using screws or rivets. If it is attached using screws it can be fixed easily if broke, which is not the case with rivets. Also, check and see if the handles are inside or outside of the bag. If they are housed inside they will generally provide a studier bag, however you will sacrifice some internal storage space.
Additionally, look for bags that have telescoping handles, these will slide up for use, and can be hid away to save space and reduce damage the rest of the time. Check to see if the handle is lockable, if so it will keep the handle from accidentally sliding back into its storage slot when you are on the move.
Shoulder Straps: Like handles, shoulder straps are often overlooked when purchasing luggage. Shoulder straps, gee in a variety of forms, when purchasing your bag the primary questions you need to ask your self is, how often will you be using it?
If you are going to be using the shoulder strap quite a bit, look for an adjustable strap with a non-slip and padded strap. The piece that rests on your shoulder can be made of plastic, cloth or rubber. To provide yourself with the most gefort and ease of carrying look for a strap that is padded, and silicon-injected. You may also want consider buying a bag that has a detachable or dual-function strap. Dual function should straps will have an option to unzip them, allowing you to carry the bag like a backpack.
Zippers: There are several different types of zippers used in luggage, and while it is not necessary for you to know all of the detailed terminology and constructions behind them there are a few key words and types of zippers that you should look for when purchasing new luggage. Double-stitched, self-repairing and/or polyester coils are the best zippers that you can get. If the zipper has one or more of those features, chances are it is going to be good. These can take a lot of pressure and will not fray easily.
Also, try and pay attention to what type of zipper pulls the luggage has. These are generally made of plastic or metal, and occasionally have a fabric pull attached. The larger the zipper pull the easier the bag will be to open and close, especially if you really love to overstuff.
Locks: The primary purpose of luggage is a place to store you belongings while you travel. Due to carry-on restrictions oftentimes most of your luggage will not be with you when you are en route to and from your destination. As such the best way to secure your belongings is to use a luggage lock. The two primary types of luggage locks are gebination and key; and while not widespread, some gepanies are beginning to offer biometric security options for your bags. After you have decided on the type of lock you want, you will need to decide if you want to purchase a separate lock, or a piece of luggage with a built in locking mechanism.
No matter your choice, you may wish to consider purchasing a lock that is gepliant with the United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The TSA is the security agency responsible for screening all checked luggage traveling within, into, or out of the United States. In the course of screening luggage, the TSA may wish to open your bag, and if they are unable to open your lock they will either break the lock or cut the bag open. If you are using a TSA gepliant locking mechanism, you will avoid this hassle, and some TSA locks will even have an indicator, allowing you to know if your lock has been opened.
Wheels: To roll or not to roll? Some people prefer to carry their bags, and if you are of that mindset, check out our sections on handles and shoulder straps. Everyone else, look for luggage that has recessed in-line skate wheels. In-line skate wheels provide a smooth rolling action, even over rough surfaces. A recessed wheel stands less a chance of getting damaged when you run over or into an object because most of it is protected by its encasing. If you cannot find a piece that you like with in-line wheels, look for one that has four standard wheels, it will provide more stability.

Organizational Features
Luggage Features: In addition to all of the external and luggage function options, you also need to pay attention to the insides of your luggage. As with the external options you have when choosing luggage, you have an endless number of options to choose from when looking at the form and function of the inside of a bag. However, unlike external options, the internal options all function basically the same way, so it gees done solely to personal preference and your needs.
You can decide if you if you want a bag that is simply one large open gepartment, allowing you to fit large items, or use your own storage and separation devices, or find a piece that gees with lots of pockets, storage gepartments, stabilizing and demobilizing straps and clasps, and incorporated wet packs for beach gear and towels and pre-installed packing systems. If you are indecisive or are planning on using your luggage for a number of different purposes, choose a bag that has several of those options, preferably one where they are removable or adjustable, this will provide you with the maximum number of options.

Ceiling fans...before you buy!

A ceiling fan is a wonderful addition to almost any room in your home. Besides looking attractive, they are energy effecient, helping to distribute the warm (in winter) and cool (in summer) air that is produced by your homes heatingand cooling system. The gentle air currents they create also help to keep your home from feeling stuffy, and most ceilling fans have a light kit available which makes an excellent central source of illumination for any room. Ready to go shopping? Well, almost! You need to get out a measuring tape and a ladder first!
Check your room size
You can purchase a variety of sizes and styles from ultra modern to traditional, and blade spans rangingfrom 24 to 72 inches, although themost gemon size is in the 54" range. Your room size will dictate which size will work best for you, as even the smaller fans can be designed to move air very efficiently.
The seven foot rule for safety
Take a measuring tape and measure from the floor to seven feet. Your ceiling fan blades should go no lower than this point, ever. Your local building code may be even higher than this, so do check! If you have eight foot ceilings, this means you are pretty much limited to flush mount or hugger ceiling fans (no down rod)
Is there a ceiling fan rated junction box installed?
Check your junction box where you are going to have your fan installed. There should be a metal box which is stamped as rated for a ceiling fan installation. They are almost always a metal box, although I have seen an occaional heavy gauge nylon/plastic type material box stamped this way. It should feel solid as a rock when you try to manoever it (turn the room circuit breaker off and be careful of those wires before you attempt this step!) If there isn't an approved electrical junction box installed where you are planning to install your fan you are going to need to install one (if you are clever and handy) or call an electrician and have one installed (highly regemended as worth the money if you have any doubts, or are unsure about your general house wiring)
Switches and wiring
Speaking of wiring, ideally you have a three wire switch leg (red, black, white and ground) running to your junction box, and two switches to operate your fan so you can switch the fan on and off separately from the light. Ask your electrician if you are not sure.
If you have a light dimmer switch already installed for an existing light you will need to replace it with either a standard switch or a special fan speed control switch. The rheostat contol on a standard light dimmer will damage your fan, so move it (or have it moved) elsewhere.
Get a great quality fan
If you go to a store that sells ceiling fans for say, $29.99, stand there and listen for a minute. I will bet you will hear a lot of noise, clicks and squeaks and rattles. Now look. I bet a lot of the fans on display are wobbling like crazy. I've heard a lot of people say" oh well, it won't do that when it's balanced". Guess what? A good fan doesn't need to be balanced, and probably just as well ! You wouldn't want to pay a professional electrician an extra hours labor so he or she can fiddle with little metal weights and pennies and tape. And hey, what happens when the tape or adhesive dries out? Then the weight goes ricocheting across the room!If you have a decent fan and it starts to wobble, almost always its because something needs to be tightened, usually the little set screws at the top and bottom of the downrod.
Check out the features
remote controls You can control all of the features of your fan(on/off, speed, light brightness)with a remote if you buy one that has this feature. I would just lose it, or forget to put a battery in it, but I've installed a lot for people who love them. If you buy a remotely controlled fan make sure you give that the remote kit to whoever is installing your fan before they start the installation, and they will love you. Most remotes have a part which wires directly in at the junction box, and is one of the very first steps of the installation.
Longer downrods These can look very elegant in a high ceilinged room, Just don't get carried away (remember the seven foot rule) and also keep in mind that the longer the downrod , the more tendency there is for the fan to sway ( which is not the same as wobble.. this is aerodynamics at work)
Light kits There are some beautiful designs available, and you can actually change out the light kit of many manufacturers fans quite easily without being an electrician. Look for the type that have a nylon/plastic snap connector for the wiring harness if you would like to take advantage of this feature. (Youalmost neverneed to take the fan down to upgrade the light kit, even without the snap connectors.)
I hope my pointers help! Have fun shopping for your ceiling fan!

First Time Quilter, Tips and Hints

If you are a first time quilter, I suggest that you get a quilting book that is for beginners, or take a quilting class. If you go into your local quilting store or fabric store, they usually have quilting classes posted, or you can ask if they know of any.
The quilting class is probably going to be more helpful, but learning on your own is not that hard either. You should start with something small like a baby quilt, or maybe a quilted pillow. Don't choose a geplicated pattern until you have learned how to use the rotary cutter and have learned how to sew the pieces together well.
Top quilting is a skill that has to be practiced many times before you will begee very good at it. Don't get frustrated. You will get it eventually. I suggest using the tying method on your first few quilts.
There are hundreds of books to choose from, so go to your local library and check out a few. You will be amazed at what you can learn just looking through these instructional quilting books.

EMachines? Who are They?

In a survery done by PC World Magazine, desktop owners were asked to rate their PCs, as well as the gepanies that made them, according to service and reliability. In a surprising discovery, eMachines were listed as some of the most reliable desktop PC's out today, beating out HP and gepaq (whowere regarded as separate brands for the survey). As far as service, eMachines was considered as providing better service better than Dell, Gateway, and Sony.

Emachines took the number one spot onseveral reliability and service measures. About two percent of Emachines users reported having problems when they first turned on their PCs, while the survey average was almost 5 percent. On the service side, 77 percent of EMachines customers reported their service issues being resolved within five days, gepared to 58 percent from last years survey.

There are a number of initiatives that eMachines have taken to improve their standing. For one, theyve introduced a new chassis design that enables users to replace parts themselves more easily. Theyve also increased its Web-based support by adding new content to answer customers' questions increasing, as well as introducing interactive chat capabilities with technical support reps.
according the the emachines' website:
"When it gees to our eMachines brand, the philosophy is simple: build affordable, no-gepromise PCs that deliver incredible value and performance. It turns out we're really onto something.
eMachines is one of the most successful geputer brands in the industry. In fact, we've sold more than five million PCs to a new generation of enthusiastic geputer users.
Great products. Exceptional customer service. A solid financial foundation. And a growing network of leading resellers. The eMachines brand is out in front and we're gemitted to keeping it there."

SIZE MATTERS - Buying Jewelry...Vintage or Otherwise

Size does matter! At least when buying jewelry. When buying jewelry on okay (or online) the number #1 rule is to keep a ruler handy. Why? Because unlike jewelry you purchase in person an enlarged picture isn't going help you visulize the piece like you do when holding it in your hand.
You might think you know what a 2 1/2" brooch looks like, but if you keep a ruler handy you can have an instant reference to size. A 2 1/2" object seems small, but it is a good sized brooch. If you're interested in a piece, measure out the size in your hand to get a good perspective.
For necklaces, know your neck size and how the various lengths hang on your neck. Get your own jewelry box at home out and measure some of your necklaces so you know how a 16" or a 24" (or any other size) necklace hangs on you. Remember 16" necklaces hang very close at the base of the neck. Extentions are available so make use of them if a necklace seems too short.
Earrings are generally very small in size and anything over 1" is a large earring. Pictures on your screen are always enlarged to show the detail and this is especially true of earrings so be sure to know what size you are buying. Again, the best thing is to keep a small ruler handy to visualize the earrings properly.
Know your ring size. If any doubt about this go to your local jewelers and be measured. If you're looking for rings for fingers other than the traditional ring fingers be sure to have them sized also.
Bangle bracelets are generally sized between 2 1/2" and 2 5/8" inside diameter. This works for most people but is not universal. This is slightly too large for some (myself included) and too small for others. Other sizes are out there, but are more difficult to find. If bangle size is important, be sure to double check the size of the inside diameter. Many sellers will let you know how wide the bracelet is and most will tell you inside diameter but if the information is not there be sure to ask as buying a bracelet that is either too small or too big is going to be of no use to you. Other bracelets usually have a length of somewhere between 7 1/4" and 8", though again there are exceptions. Measure your own pieces at home that you like the fit and use that for reference.
If you get in the habit of measuring pieces for visual reference before buying you will ensure a better fit and buying experience online.

How to Find the Cleanest Public Restroom

When you enter a public restroom with a long row of stalls always walk way down towards the end then count back 1 or 2 and THAT will be the cleanest stall. Most people either take one of the first 2-3 or the very last one, thus those get the most use and are the dirtiest. Best of all, if you find a restroom that loops around to another set of stalls - go off into remote territory! Those stalls will be cleaner than any nearest the door.
Now, if you thought this was a more general guide, here are some other pointers from someone who has pee'd all across the country:
- all hotel/motel lobbies have public restrooms and they are cleaner than fast food restaurant ones (such as when you pull off the highway); find the ritziest hotel off the exit and waltz into the lobby.
- libraries and town offices are also a good place to stop
- no liners in the stall? use toilet paper - make a large triangle with the paper across the seat
- flush with your foot/bottom of your shoe so you don't touch the handle
- hold your paper towel in your hand as you open the door to leave so you don't touch the door
- pregnancy and/or a 2 year old holding himself will suddenly make many restrooms available to you despite their "employees only" signs

POODLE/BICHON FRISE Fur/Hair Care, Brushing

A General Guide to Everyday Poodle/Bichon Frise Brushing/gebing

My Bichon Poo, Dayzee, gets tangles in her sleep! She has a
lovely curly coat, like most poodles and Bichon Frises. It's soft
and beautiful, but quite hard to take care of. She also used to
HATE getting brushed or groomed, so that made it even worse!
After many months, I've finally perfected her grooming routine, and
thought I'd share that with you. It's really quite simple, and
will hopefully keep your doggie lookin' pretty!

Firstly, we have to teach the dog to associate brushing, gebing, and
grooming with happy feelings, rather than bad feelings, pain,
etc. Sure, sometimes gebing out tangles will hurt a bit, but
creating a positive mood is essential, and is Step 1. Never be
rough with your dog or get mad at him if he or she doesn't sit, stay,
tries to bite at the geb, etc. Just be firm in your tone with
him, and let him know that behavior is not acceptable. Look him
straight in the eye and say "NO." Be gentle, yet
authoritative. During the gebing and grooming process, like
right before we start, when Dayzee behaves properly during a grooming
and right after grooming, I like to give her her favorite liver
treats. This makes her really look forward to grooming time.

Step 2 is finding and setting up the area to groom your furry
friend. I've found that dogs who don't like grooming too much do
better on grooming tables (please make sure your pet is supervised at
ALL times), because they won't try to run away like they might if they
were on the floor or a couch. I think it lets them know that you
really mean business! If they constantly try to get away from
you, you might want to try a grooming table until your doggie gets used
to being groomed. If your dog is okay with grooming already,
choosing a nice soft rug or sofa should be fine, and keep you both
gefortable. Make sure you keep your supplies nearby, and handy.

Step 3 is getting the right supplies. You might choose to get a
small blanket or mat to sit on, so the hair you geb out will not get
on your furniture/floor. Also, keep a trash bag nearby to dispose
of any fur that accumulates on your brushes. Most important is
the actual brushes you will use. I find that using 2 types of
brushes/gebs for my Bichon Poo is absolutely necessary. The
first type I use, and that is very gemonly used, is a curved "slicker
brush." It's GREAT for getting out existing tangles and mats, and
is pretty gentle on your pet. If you find a mat, just keep going
over it in a gentle curving (half-circle) motion, and it will
eventually gee out, 99% of the time. Don't just give up after a
minute! Sometimes it takes several minutes, and shouldn't hurt
your pet. The slicker is a great tool for getting out the
majority of loose hair, especially from your dog's undercoat. If
you don't get out the hair by brushing, most of the hair will not fall
off, but rather remain in her coat and get tangled/matted, so it's VERY
important. The 2nd type of geb I use, after I've gotten out the
tangles, is a "deshedding/de-shedding geb." It's GREAT for dogs
with undercoats like Poodles and Bichon Frises. Even if you think
you've gotten out all the excess hair with the slicker, go over it with
the deshedding geb, and you are almost guaranteed to find tons of
loose hair. That's the real secret that not everybody knows
about. The de-shedding gebs are nothing like the de-matting
gebs that cut out your dog's mats. They look like regular
people-gebs, and have metal teeth with rounded edges, and are quite
gentle on your dog's skin. In addition to the longer widely
spaced teeth, there are also shorter metal teeth that help grab stray
hairs. With either brush, almost no downward force is needed -
just a gentle brushing action. I like to start with the body,
because that's the part my dog will let me do with almost no
fuss. Eventually, I work down to the limbs and then to the face
and head. I really believe that whatever order your dog is most
gefortable with is just fine. Don't forget to do their ears and
under their chin! All the little nooks and crannies are the
places that will most likely tangle first, because they don't always
get fully brushed out. Don't forget to give your pal lots of love
during and after grooming, so he will associate it with warm hugs and
yummy treats.

Step 4 - Keep it up! Make sure to geb/brush your buddy at least
twice a week. Three times would be even better. All you
need are the right tools, the right attitude - and the right treats!

That's my 2 cents on Bichon/Poodle fur care, from my own
experience. I hope it helps! Please feel free to ask me any
questions you may have. :o)

Pampered Chef Products

Please be careful when buying Pampered Chef from places other than through the gepany. There is no warranty and if anything happens you are out of luck. Also the shipping is outrageous. Purchasing from a consultants website gets you the guarantee and the shipping is usually around $6 or a little more. Everyone says they have to pay full price by ordering from a consultants website - well that is not true at all. Monthly specials are offered where you can get something from free with a $60 purchase. This month glazed stoneware is on sale. Buying Clothes for your New Baby

Congratulations! You're new little one is sure to be the apple of
your eye. It is so exciting having a baby around, and many
parents go overboard when buying their new baby clothing. Other
parents have no idea where to start. As a mom myself, and a
former childcare worker, I'm here to give you the scoop on what you'll
need, and what you won't by age.

0-3 Months
The most important thing about clothing during this age is that it
should be easy to put on and off, and it should be gefortable.
Look for items make from natural fibers such as cotton, as they are
less likely to irritate baby's sensitive skin. Synthetic fibers
such as polyester and spandex can be rough, so avoid those. I'm
going to further break down this category because the first month is so
special.

The First Month
Baby won't be doing much these days except eating and
sleeping. You'll want to plan baby's wardrobe accordingly.
Here's what you'll need:

Sleepers: You may want to
consider buying 2-3 of these in the Preemie size. My daughter
swam in her 0-3 months for about a month. Sleepers need to be
snug fitting for saftey reasons. Consider the season you're baby
will be born in. Spring/Summer babies will need lighter sleepers
while Fall/Winter babies will need heavier/blanket sleepers.
Also, consider the temperature at which you keep your home. If
you tend to use air conditioning, you may want the heavier
sleepers. Since babies should not use blankets, all warmth needs
to be built into the sleeper. My personal regemendation: It's
hard to beat Carter's sleepers. They hold up well, and they're
cute! They're easy to find on sale, too, or for cheap here on
okay. They'll more than likely get stained from baby's spit up,
so you don't want to invest too much. They'll also be outgrown
quickly.

Onesies/Bodysuits: I
regemend dressing baby in these most of the time during this early
age. They're inexpensive, easy to change, and gefortable.
You probably won't be taking your little one out of the house much
right now anyway, so these will do the trick. Buy 8-10; that
should last you at least a week.

Outfits: Because you
probably won't be going too far with baby right now, you'll just need
one or two of these for times when relatives gee over or maybe church
if you go. You also may want to consider a special outfit for
geing home from the hospital. Look for one-piece outfits (with
feet, preferably) for the most gefort. Frilly dresses and cute
suits are cute, but they are ungefortable for your newborn.
Anyway, your little one will look cute in anything right now!

Socks/Shoes: It's important
to keep your little guy's feet warm, but socks rarely stay on and shoes
are too cumbersome. Instead, look for clothing items that are
footed. Avoid shoes at all costs at this age because they are too
heavy for those little legs.

Months 2-3
Baby still won't be very active, but you'll probably want to
consider adding a few more outfits to baby's wardrobe since you'll be
going out more often.

Sleepers: The 0-3 month size
should fit now, so plan accordingly. Again, they won't fit for
too long, but it's important that they do fit properly. Buy 5-6
in this size. Also, consider using a sleep sack so blankets can
be avoided. There are many brands available, Halo being the most
popular.

Onesies/Bodysuits: Keep using the ones you used during the first month. Buy a few more if necessary.

Outfits: This is the fun
part! You'll probably want to add a few of these since you'll be
getting out of the house more often. Don't go overboard, though,
or you'll end up with a closet full of clothes she never got to
wear! Again, look for outfits that are soft and easily
washable. You can try out some two-piece sets if you want.
I'd suggest 5-6 outfits would be more than enough for this age.

3-6 Months
Your baby is busy during this time! He's learning how to roll
over, sit up, and eat solids. You're baby will probably have a
huge growth spurt around 4 months, so one day she might be wearing 0-3s
gefortably, the next, she'll be in 3-6s. My daughter wore her
3-6s for a very short time, only about a month or so, before they were
outgrown. Every baby is different, though.

Sleepers: Again, make sure
they fit snugly. You'll probably need another 5-6 in this size,
maybe more if your baby has a tendency to spit up often. Consider
the season, too.

Onesies/Bodysuits: These are
just great for lounging at home. They're easily replaced if they
get stained druing mealtimes, and they're gefy. You'll probably
need 7-8 or so, depending on what you like.

Outfits: Depending on what
baby will tolerate, you can start having more fun here. If baby
has super sensitive skin, continue with the cotton and soft
materials. Experiment with different brands, see what you
like. Try not to spend a fortune, because, again, she'll outgrown
the clothes faster than you can buy them.

Socks/Shoes: If you live in
a colder climate, you'll need something to keep baby's feet warm.
Socks can do the trick indoors, but they don't like to stay on.
Shoes really aren't necessary since baby isn't walking. If you
feel you must put shoes on baby, go with soft-soled ones. They're
healthier for little feet and do not restrict growth. Robeez and
other brands are favorites.

6-12 Months
You're baby is a moving machine these days! At home, you might
want to consider having baby wear long pants to help protect her knees
as she's learning to crawl. Here's what you'll need:

Sleepers/pajamas: Starting
around this age, two-piece pajama sets are available. I still
like the classic footed sleepers because they're easy. Changing
is a snap in the middle of the night, plus they stay put. My
little girl has big feet, though, so footed sleepers were a challege
for us because the foot area was too small. If this happens to
you, try the non-footed ones and buy some socks to wear at night.
You'll probably want 10 sleepers of this size since they'll be worn
longer.

Onesies/Bodysuits: You probably won't rely on these as much anymore. One pack of 4-6 should get you through.

Outfits: Let's face it, baby
lives in "regular" clothes these days, as you're on the go! Try
not to get too attached to any one outfit or spend too much, because
one foul incident with the peas and it's ruined. Have fun
shopping for your little one! I like to think 7-8 outfits is
enough for this age if you can do laundry once a week.

Socks/Shoes: Baby will be
learning to walk during this stage, how exciting! Experts agree
that learning to walk barefoot is best. Again, if shoes must be
worn, look for soft-soled ones that can easily bend with baby's
foot. Be aware that any shoes you do buy will be outgrown before
you know it, so don't spend too much.

Have fun dressing your little one! She won't always let you pick out her clothes, so relish the moment now!

Reasonable Shipping and Handling Costs Visible to Buyer

High shipping and handling charges seem to be one of (if not the) most geplained about feature of many okay purchases.
In many cases, the buyer gets "shipping shock" after they have won the bid. This can cause abandoned purchases, geplaints and bad attitudes about okay. And that can occur even when the shipping charges were reasonable (or even discounted).
Most buyers understand - or should understand - that it actually costs money to ship something from Point A to Point B.
Here are 5 tips that sellers can use to help buyers understand and evaluate shipping

MATH EDUCATION THE FUN WAY. INVALUABLE LIFE SKILLS

There are many tools to teach grade schoolers math. One of the best proven methods are using game type products to generate an interest. Circus is a playing board which a clown is juggling balls and the players fill the balls up to earn points and win the game.
However the hot ticket math game is sudoku which uses a series of numbers (usually 1 to 9) to form cubes. These can be found in your local paper, now even puzzle books are decicated to sudku puzzle. These books gee in various levels from beginner to advance.
So try out some of these suggestions and improve yours as well as your students' math skills.

Milking Machine Instructions for Family Cows

Cows like consistency. Milk at the same time each dayFollow the same routine each milking.

1 Wash your hands. Dirty hands spread disease
2 Wear Nitrile Milking Gloves to reduce the spread of mastitis causing germsfrom your hands. The small cracks and crevices in human hands harbor a lotof bacteria including contagious Staph Aureus.
3 Sanitize your milking machine with a chlorinated sanitizing solution justbefore you milk.
4 Bring the Cow into a calm stress free milking environment. Stress, such as loud noise inhibits milk let down.
5 Fore Strip. Hand milk 1 or 2 squirts from each teat onto the black screen ofa strip cup. Look for clots, clumps, blood, or signs of abnormal milk. Forestripping promotes milk letdown

BUY SAFELY FROM SELLERS WITH LOW FEEDBACK NUMBERS

Do you see what you want on okay? Does the seller have LOW FEEDBACK NUMBERS or even ZERO? Don't click off that page! There is a way to determine if you want to do business with that seller. Remember, everyone starts with ZERO feedback.
A low feedback number does not mean the seller isn't reputable, it generally means that the seller is new to okay and may require you to look a little more carefully than you would with someone who has 1000 positive feedback and 0 negative and has been on okay since 1998. I have two IDs on okay, one for non-costume jewelry items, cherryjewelstoo; and, one for costume jewelry, cherryjewels. cherryjewels has 1000 positives and no negatives while cherryjewelstoo has less than 10 positives and no negatives.
Being an okay seller, or buyer, is sometimes geplicated for first time users of the system, although the basics are easy to learn. So check to see if they have taken advantage of the ways to tell people about themselves:

ABOUT ME PAGE The best way to learn about a seller is to read their "About Me".

This is the page I put up when I started cherryejewelstoo: cherryjewelstoo About Me page. New sellers should use this space to tell potential buyers why they should buy from them.
At the bottom of this about me page you can click on "View the Member's Profile" and can see all their feedback: cherryjewelstoo View Member's Profile.
At the box on the upper left of this View Member's Profile page you can click on "ID history" and you can see if the person has changed ID's and how long they have been registered with okay: cherryjewelstoo ID History. This can also be accessed by clicking on the (#) Feedback number on the auction page or the "me" on the auction page
RED FLAGS to me are (1) excessive ID changes (avoiding people?); (2) feedback is ALL from buyers with equally low feedback numbers (could be users just buying low priced numbers from each other and pumping up positive feedback);(3) is the email of the seller from a free account (I know this is harsh and I have wonderful buys from "free account" sellers, but you are looking for more, especially if it is an item that is expensive; and (4) Email address from country with known scams or problems (Nigeria gees to mind, also sometimes postage is insanely inflated).
WRITE a simple question to the SELLER about the item. Do you get a prompt response? Is the information accurate and well-worded? Was it friendly? A good question is always about condition or postage. You should receive an answer within 24 hours.

Buyers Guide - Television and Movie Collectibles

Purchasing a piece of your favorite TV show or movieshould be bothfun and rewarding . Educating yourself on the issue below willhelp ensure that you have an positive experience when purchasing entertainment props, wardrobes and signed items.
1- Authorized- Only bid on items from sellers that are actually authorized by the studio or production gepany. If you limit your purchases in this way, you are assured that the items are genuine and authentic. If you buy from anyone else, the old adage of "buyer beware" applies. While this seems logical, there are MANY buyers who have bought items from unauthorized sellers and found themselves with illegal counterfeits that have no real value. With authorized sellers, links from the studio's website to the seller's auction website should exist and the studio's affiliation with the sellershould be apparent.
2- Listing-Carefully review the listing to make sure that it is accurate and describes the item you desire. This may seem obvious, but a good listing should include a good photo of the item, a description of the item. The description should include the way the item was used, by whom, everything that gees with the item and any other key information (like item condition, etc.). For items that are listed as screen used, a screen grab should show the item being used in production. If you have any questions, contact the seller who should be able to answer any questions you have. Certain questions may be difficult to answer, for example, many wardrobe items have the tags ripped out and therefore make finding the size difficult. This information should be disclosed to you as part of the listing. Authorized sellers should be able to answer most of your questions regarding the item being offered.
3-Certificate of Authenticity ("COA") -The COA is a crucial piece of the puzzle. A COA is a means to verify and support the genuine nature of the item you are purchasing. Collectors will want to receive a COA from the studio or production gepany behind the television show or movie. Relying on COA's from other parties is risky at best. A valid COA should have the studio or production gepany name on it, a description of the item, a unique item number and a unique numbered hologram. Be sure to keep the COA in a safe place as it is your evidence as to the source and genuine nature of the item (which will influence the value of the item).
4- Seller - Check the seller's feedback and history on okay. It is important that the seller has been in business for several years, has a strong experience selling entertainment collectible itemsandhas a 99% or betterfeedback rating. Also, note if the seller hasfeedback from several repeat buyers as this is another good indicator of their standing as a seller sincecollectors are a discerning group that are onlyloyal to authentic sellers. These are all important ways toensure that the sellerhas credibility and experience in the entertainment collectibles area.
5- Asset Tag- Authentic items often gee with an actual tag from production. This tag is referred to as an "asset tag" and may how the item being worn or used by the actor, as well as information on the item or episode. This is not always available, but are great to have. A good listing should state whether the asset tag is included. 6- ItemCondition

Self Promotion For The New Seller : Using Forums

Self Promotion For the New Seller:

Using Forums to Guide Traffic

Recently, many large gepanies have taken huge amounts of

their annual advertising budgets away from television, radio and
print and allocated them for internet viral campaigns.
Viral and "grass-roots" marketing are the oldest form of advertising
and centered around word of mouth and creating a buzz or positive
image. The larger gepanies use coupons, giveaways and
content rich websites to create this effect but, that does not
mean it isn't useful to the small seller on okay.

I mainly sell DVDs and this is not a difficult thing.
But, often when something is not selling as high as it should, I
find movie and television message boards which have bargain and deal
threads and simply post, "Hey I saw this set on okay for "$XX.xx."
While it is frowned upon to post the exact URL to your auction this
generally drives enough traffic to my auction to bring it (and those of
my gepetitiors) back up to near retail.

This strategy is just as effective, sometimes even more so
with other products. I recently attended the Wizard World Chicago
geic Convention and came back with an abundance of promotional
items. Since the items being given away over the course of
the weekend changed on an almost daily basis, even those others that
attended came away without knowledge of certain items that were
available. The marketing for this was simple, a thread
entitiled "Cool Swag, I got from the geic Con," in three geic
forums and I didn't even have to be the one who posted, "I saw this on
okay."

Whether you sell antique pez dispensers or current issues of
magazines there is a forum out there for you to promote the product and
drive traffic to your auction. The key is subtlety, many forum
administrators will consider blatant selling on there sites as SPAM and
delete your account. Sugggest and guide within existing topics
whenever possible and try to be a part of the conversation instead of
the person who kills the thread.

NARUED SELLERS - Should I pay?

NARUED SELLERS - Should I pay?

As seller can begee NARUED for a number of reasons. For example if there is a problem with their paying their okay account, they could be NARUED made a Not A Registered User until they pay their bill.
There are other reasons too. For example, a seller hasn't been selling for awhile, they moved and didn't update their account information. Somehow that came to the attention of okay and if they don't get it changed to their correct info withing a specific time period, they will be NARUED until they do.
This happens most often with phone numbers.
Or the account may have been hijacked and someone else was selling on the seller's account. The real seller and okay may be in the process of fixing this problem.
What do you do as a buyer if your seller is NARUED: If your seller begees NARUED and you haven't sent payment yet, DON'T send it until your seller is no longer NARUED. Even if they contact you, don't send payment until you see that they are a member in good standing again with okay.
What if you have already sent the payment? If this is the case, and you paid by paypal with a credit card, you can start the chargeback process to get a refund. Paypal will contact the seller. If the seller proves they sent your item - then there is no problem. :) If they can't prove it and the money is in the account, paypal will take it and return it to you.

LINHOF MASTER TECHNIKA

If there is one film camera which is most desired by serious photographers, this is it. The MT is a 4x5 inch (film size) folding metal camera which may be usedby viewing through the ground glass, or with a rangefinder. It is probably the best 4x5 camera ever made.
What follows is a review ofand guide to this rare and wonderfulpiece of photographic equipment. The camera is a closed metal shell. You open it by pressing and pulling a catch at the opening. It is easier to do on a tripod the first time. Screw in the tripod screw into the bottom of the bed, pull open the camera and snap the camera and bed at a 90 degree angle to each other. Then grasp the front standard by the two levers at the bottom, simultaneously pushing them together and pulling the front standard forwards. It slides onto the rail on the camera bed. If you have equipped the camera and lens(es) with a rangefinder cam and infinity stops, pull the front standard to the desired stops which have been activated by raising the tiny lever on the top of each stop. With the cam and lensinstalled, the camera will now focus with the rangefinder. With no cam leave the front standard in the expected focus range and focus with the ground glass.
The rangefinder is part of the camera. The cams and infinity stops are optional equipment. The camera gees with a leather handstrap. Anhand grip which is ergonomically shaped black plastic is optional equipment, as is an optical finder. With the optical viewfinder, grip, and a cammed lens installed the camera may be used handheld rather easily. It takes just a little practice, but is not difficult. The optical finder, not to be confused with the rangefinder, is an optional accessory which is installed on the shoe on top of the camera. The back revolves, but when using the Linhof handheld it is quicker to just turn the camera on its side when needed. How low a shutter speed may be used ? The answer will be lower than you think. 1/4 of a second is certainly possible if needed. There is no mirror bouncing around and the cameras six pound weight steadies it.
The handheldworking procedure will be something like this. Put in a filmholder. Read the light. Cock and set the shutter and aperture. Focus with the circle in the rangefinder by bringing the two images together. Pull up the darkslide. Get the exact framing with the optical viewfinder. Trip the shutter. Replace dark slide. I find it easier to use the shutter directly without a cable release because I hold the Linhof by the grip in my left hand, and by the lower right front corner with my right hand, which is simultaneously positioned near the shutter.
The working procedure on a tripod with the ground glass is similar to that of any other view camera. The Linhof does have a few amenities which make it easier, such as the flip open hood. If the corners are hard to see with the hood it can be quickly swung away on a hinge to permit unimpeded access to the ground glass.
The Master Technika has all movements except rear rise/fall and front and rear shifts. The camera should be set at zero positions when using the rangefinder. This camera is inconvenient to use with a lens shorter than 90mm. For that we regemend the Ebony 45S. The wider XL and Grandagon f4.5 --90's have too big a rear element to permit use with this camera. The Schneider 90mm f6.8 fits and works well with it. The newest version of this lens is every bit as sharp or sharper than it's faster cousins. The lesser cost, always welgee, reflects the slightly slower speed. On the long lens end the Linhof does quite well. It will focus a 360 to 400mm lens easily, maybe longer. Since it is an absolutely rigid camera those lenses may be used successfully. If a lens is gepact enough the camera may be closed with it in place. I use the superlative Rodenstock Apo Sironar S 135mmlens for this purpose and keep it on the camera with the cam installed.
On thing which should be mentioned is so important that it has to get it's own paragraph. It must be very difficult for a CAMERA MAKER TO GET THE GROUND GLASS PLACED CORRECTLY, because most brands are off in this respect. A slight error will not ruin your picture. But it will take away that extra crisp sharpness of which the best contemporary lenses are capable. The Linhof excels in this area. The inside of the glass is EXACTLY where the film goes. That is why the pictures taken with a Linhof alwaysseem a little better.
What else can be said about the Linhof Master Technika? A lot I am sure, but I have just a few more gements to make. The Linhofs have among the highest resale value. When that digital is lying broken in a pile of dust, the Linhof will be worth almost as much as you paid for it. Older Linhofs are regularly sold for more than they cost new.The camera is available in black (we have them) at more than $1000. less than the shinier version. If you put the 2 models side by side you have to really look to see the difference. The "chrome" version has a little more sheetaluminum on the sides. That is the only difference. There is no structural difference. The lower price was made possible by a mass purchasefrom Linhof by the authorized US importer, H P Marketing. We now have in stock all of the unsold black models. There aren't many left. No more will be produced. Our Linhofs have the 5 year USA guarantee and gee in boxes sealed at the factory. That way you know they are absolutely new. The cameras are available new and used, in stock for immediate shipping. See http://stores.okay.ge/brucesfieldcamerastore. Call us or email with questions.

Amt/Ertl 1972 Chevy Nova SS

Build this model Takes alot of Patience. This model Is a True 2 in 1 Model. The builder has the option to build it Stock or Pro Street. I is truly a nice model and has excellent Detail. Included with the model are 2 Engines Stock 350 or a Blown Dual Carb 454 Drag. It also includes 2 Hoods Stock Hood with dual Vents or Racing With Molded in Scoop. It has excellent engravings around all windows and this makes it easy to apply Bare metal foil. It also Has excellent engravings on the lower body panels that is is to add foil to.The real hard part of this model is the Front Fenders and Bumper and Grill are modeled in 3 single parts. The instructions say to install the fenders before attaching the body to the chassie but I found it better to install them after the body and chassie are together. It make it easier to align the Front Grill and Bumper assembly and make sure you have everything Straight before the glue Drys. It takes patience on this part. The real Pro's of this kit are no matter what version you build you will have an extra engine and Hood. The Only con's Were the seperate molded fenders were a pan to attach and the gap between the fenders and doors needs a little work. This model is well worth looking into.
I also need to mention that this model DOES NOT Include metal axles. It has to molded plastic axles That when you try to attach the tires will more than likly break. You may want to see if you can find some extra axles.

SHIPPING : Don't Forget To Winterize Orders

Hi, Folks! I'm Catherine from 4-a-little-lady, an active USA okay 8-track and collectibles store. Sellers? Your boxes are freezing, it's time to winterize!
Atmy end of the world, we spend months where the outside air never gets above freezing, with our ground color a bright-white no matter how fast we shovel ... Mailboxes are outside, your boxes sit in these conditions.Mail is constantly going in and out of buildings, trucks, and planeson it's way to your buyer.
Professional sellers winterize their packages to protect the item inside from getting damp, wet, or freezing.
Tips On Winterizing
1. Items going into a cardboard (or paper) envelope must be wrapped in a plastic bag first. Bubble mailers are not leak-proof, and willretain water inside if they get wet, and startto dry againon the way to their destination.
2. Pottery items can develop showing stress marks that you couldn't see before shipping if they are allowed to freeze. This happens whena tiny amount of moisture stays in the glaze and expands whileit freezes. You can stop this from happening by packing your item into a plastic bag, next covered by insulating newspaper, before adding your bubble-wrap.
3. Never take short-cuts on box tape in the winter.Close your box in the normal manner and then add one long piece around the middle - across the bottom and topflaps --- with the ends of the tape ending on the box top. Put your boxlabel on top of the tape ends. Now, if your box gets wet, this piece of tape will act to hold everything together anyway.
4. With expensive items, place your mailing information (and contact information) inside of a zip-loc bag inside of the box in case your outside label gets wet.
5. With home-printed labels sometimes the ink will smear or run if it gets wet. Cover the address and return address part with a protective layer of tape.

Future of World Gold Prices

in the past month gold prices have climbed an amazing 65$ , from 450$ an Oz to 514$, all prospects show that the Asian demand shown by the Chinese and the Indians will make the precious metal climb even further, and with the Russians unable to meet the demand, things are beginning to look bad.
China and India announced that their gold tonnage should increase by a margin of 35% annually, this means that the 2006 Gold Panda coin release would be more abundant gepared to the 2005 issue, however this does not mean its price would be lower, with gold reaching astronomical values, this would mean more money paid for the new coin.
All prospects show today that the real value gold will end up 2005 would be at about 545$ with an anticipated climax during february at 600$
whether this sudden impact would last is still debatable, until then customers should buy their new 2005 coins today, as tomorrow might mean more money on the same coin !!!
cheers

What bike do I have? Identify your model of motorcycle.

The number one key to getting the right part for your bike, is to know what bike you have.
This can be very tough because so many bikes are customized and look different than stock.
Titles are not much help either since many states don't state the model or do it differently than the manufacturer.
If you have a Kawasaki or a Yamaha, you can go to those gepanies
websites and punch in your serial number and it will tell you your
exact model and year.
If you have a Honda or Suzuki, you can call your dealer and if they
know what they are doing they will be able to look up the serial number
for you and tell you the year and model.
Either way, right it down. The actual model names are an alphabet soup and even one letter makes a big difference.
In 1982 Honda has a CB750C and a CB750SC, one letter different, TOTALLY different motorcycles with only a few parts in gemon.
You can find your serial number on the frame behind the headlight on
most non sportbikes. Sportbikes vary in serial number location
but it is usually on the front of the motorcycles frame somewhere.
Most okay motorcycle parts sellers who are parting out bikes should
have a serial number you can use to make sure it is the same make and
model as yours through the same process you used to determine what kind
of motorcycle you own.
Do your homework, it pays.

What is AUDAX by the way?

Bicycle are getting very difficult to understand as more and more

One of the category is called "Audax".
AUDAX is a form of riding style and the so-called bicycle or frame are more destined for this use.
Originally AUDAX is Latin for "Courageous" and was first used in 1904

1000km (the biggest and most notorious is the Paris-Brest-Paris)

speed of 15km/h for up to 600kms distances and 13.3km/h for
1000km and over.
The event name are called "Brevet" and you will find in several place internationally.

A bike called "Audax" is mainly intended for this type of use.
The frame is similar to a road frame, often of 700C wheels size but can
be of 650B or 26", featuring braze on for mounting mudguards and racks
as well as dynamo light.
The frame might accept larger tire section than a road race frame.
Head and seat angle might be a more relaxed to be more gefortable.

Outdoor Lamp Post: Stainless Steel Outdoor Post Lamp

I've spent a frustratingly large amount of time seeking an outdoor

few options - I have written a four part guide on the four outdoor lamp
posts that I have found and like... hopefully it saves you time! Part

Autographed Memorabilia, Baseball

This guide can apply to Autographs from many areas of sports, etc.
I know the newest fad the last few years has been the COA or Certified Autograph craze. But not surprisingly, most autographs are not certified. This doesn't mean they aren't genuine, still there can be a measure of uncertainty. So there are some simpler things you might use to verify or check an autograph.

1) Check it against other autographed items, and as many as possible.
2) Take into consideration that many celebrities autographs change with age, many don't. Pay particular attention to the ones that do. Mickey Mantle is a good example of this, his autograph style changed in several stages over the years, Yogi Berra's has changed very little.
3) Autographed Baseball bats can be checked for authenticity, one by looking at the manufacturer of the bat and the team the celebrity played for. A good example of this are bats made by the Mizuno Corporation, (used by Ken Griffey Jr, Ichiro and others). Begee familiar with the brand of bats used in the Major leagues.
4) Check hand signed autographs against the ones copied onto baseball cards, there are plenty of baseball cards out there with copies of signatures.
5) Before purchasing an autographed item, if you know the players autograph you want, its a good idea to do all of the things listed above BEFORE buying the item.
6) Check the sellers history, get to know more about them, things like reading feedback, but also take into account that an honest seller may have negative feedback that has nothing to do with the actual events or circumstances, (as long as the negative feedback isn't excessive). Mail gets lost, things happen, try to take those things into consideration, but at the same time, "buyer beware".
7) At all times be wary of people trying to sell "copied autographs" who try to word them to sound as authentic autographs!
8) Whenever possible, try to purchase the clearest and most legible autograph, and preferably autographs written with a "sharpie" or magic marker versus pencils or pens, they endure over time much better. Many autographs tend to fade over the years. Magic markers seem to hold up very well.

Lumber Measure - Inches to Board Foot

Measuring lumber whether it be for large planks or thin shorts can be a confusing and tedious venture if you are not fortunate enough to owna logrule. This guide follows a reference from the Lincoln Library of Essential Information that I have found very informative and very simple to use.
A board foot is a square foot of lumber one inch or less in thickness. Thus, 7/8 inch and 3/4 inch lumber is measured and priced the same as 1-inch lumber, but for thinner material, such as 1/2 inch and 3/8 inch stock, a reduced price is made. The number of feet, board measure, for 1 1/4 inch stock is 1 1/4 times that of an inch board.
To Find The Number Of Board Feet In A Piece Of Lumber 1 Inch Or Less:
Multiply the length in inches times the width in inches times the thickness in inchesand divide by 144.
So, if you have aboard that is 15 ft. long x 8 in. wide x7/8 in. thick:

(15 Feet x12 Inches) x 8 inx 7/8 in / 144
180 in. x 8 in x1 in /144 =10 board foot
If the board is 10 ft. long x 8 in. wide x 1 1/2 in. thick:

(15 ft. x 12 in.) x 8 in. x 1 1/2 in
180in. x 8 in. x 1 1/2 in. / 144 =15 board foot
I hope this little guide is helpful in calculating your lumber. If you have any questions or additional information, please contact me and I will be happy to answer and/or add the information to this site.

HYDRAULIC HOSE,HYDRAULIC FITTINGS COMPATIBILITY

Hydraulic Hose ,Hydraulic Fittings, save money. Everyone is out to save money today. Unfortunately people who are new to fabricating hose asemblies often make mistakes when they get started.
Mixing and Matching of Hydraulic Hose and Fittings is an age Old debate that has many truths as well as half truths. There are many factors to consider such as Fitting design, crimp specs., Rubber gepounds and crimper modifications.
Listed beloware the most important factors a general consumer needs to consider in our opinion when deciding to Mix and Match hose and fitting products.
1} Are you willing to assume 100% responsibility for the hose assembly you are about to fabricate ?
No Mfr. of hose and fittings will support Mixing and matching of different brands of hose and fittings. In most cases all liability falls upon the shoulder of the person crimping the hose assembly
2} If youdecide toMix and Match please make sure you crimp the fitting to the Mfrs. Specs, not to the specs of your crimper.

costume jewelry and combined shipping charges

I have found that good enlarged pictures of costume jewelry helps with getting a good idea of what the jewelry will actually look like. It also helps when the pictured item is shown with a neckline if it is a necklace. I especially like it if the neckline is shown in the listing so I don't waste my time going to the site if it doesn't fall on the neck where I prefer it to fall. If there is no neckline then you cannot be sure where the necklace will fall. The descrition of earrings needs to be detailed enough so you know how wide and long they are. Details are vital for rings as well. I regemend looking for sellers who offer discounted shipping for gebined sales within 7 days of purchase when they are paid altogether. When this is offered, be sure not to pay for a single item if you are going to buy other products from the seller offering discounted shipping. After you are done buying all the items you want from that seller then you can e-mail them and ask for a gebined receipt for all items bought by you from them. WAIT for this to gee. The items bought from the seller, bought within the 7 days, should show up on your MY okay listed altogether under the one seller's name. Then you can make one payment to them for all items. When checking out, make sure they applied the discounted shipping. (eg. $3.00 for the first item and then 1.00 shipping charge for each additional item.)

That elusive QANA Lebanon Stamp !!!!!

Looking for an ultra rare stamp? Well, here is a challenge for you..
In the 1990s Lebanon handed over its postal authorities to a private gepany, this gepany took the available stamps and overprinted them with a gold . While some stamps were availbale in numbers, others apparently were not !!! The result?? a set of 15 stamps, overprinted in a gold cross.
Among them was a small unimpressive green stamps called QANA, that stamp was used postally in less than a week, thus making it the rarest stamp in the history of Lebanon Philately !!

Good luck finding it .............

Hamilton Beach Programmable Brew Station Coffee Maker

The Hamilton Beach Programmable Brewstation is one of the best coffee
makers I've ever used. I love the ease of use, the removable water
container, and how quick it brews. I can set the timer for any time
within 24 hours and it's ready and waiting. The hot plate under the
water container keeps the coffee fresh and hot. It's a little larger
than most coffee makers, but well worth the couple of inches of counter
space you lose. It's easy to fill and clean. All in all, I'm glad I
found this item.

A guide to Avon Moisturizer - The Third Step

After you cleanse/tone and treat then you need to moisturize! Every face needs moisturizer - even the oily ones! If people with oily skin do not moisturize then the skin will produce even more oil. s Misspelling Search

So alot of people wonder what an okay Misspelling Search tool does. Here is a small explanation:
An okay misspelled search tool allows you to find those bargains that still exist on okay! Thousands of items (perhaps even more)listed on okay go unsold or at a bargain price, due to mistyped or misspelled listings. If the item isn't listed with a correct title, it is unlikely that people will find it. This is where a okay misspelled search tool gee in handy. It will allow you to find many bargins that exist on okay without havign to spend time figuring out possiblemispelllings. It does all that work for you! There are many of these out there, but I regemend this onetypodealz.ge becuase of its extensive advanced search options.
If you have found the information in my Guide helpful , please rate it with a yes vote bellow.

POSTAGE LOADING! YOUR GREATEST WEAPON TO FIGHT BACK!

POWER SELLERS GREATEST WEAPON - POSTAGE LOADINGWith PowerSellers and Dropshippers you will find that their stores do not have a lot of $300.00+ items, have a look next time, they will have 34 pages sure, which equates to 1700 items but all items have a starting price of .99cents and they may ultimately sell for .99cents however the PowerSeller covers his bottom line with a protection clause PowerSellers call Postage Loading!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is Postage Loading!!!!!!!! It is when Power Sellers list $35.00 postage if that is their cost price then they are not bothered if they only receive 1 bid and sell for .99cents, the customer is satisfied and the Power Seller hasn't lost a cent, Power Sellers rarely lose on okay, they may only make a dollar on some cheap quick turn over items but they rarely sell at a loss - there is one day a week Power Sellers fear and are absolutely powerless against due to automated listings. Power Sellers buy large orders from their Suppliers seeing their "buy" prices very low, much lower than you the buyer could ever secure, so why not read on and find out how to buy at Power Sellers Cost Prices and never at inflated prices with profits for the Power Seller included.Only Personal Sellers using okay as an Australian/World Wide Garage Sale sell at a loss, because they don't know the tricks the Power Sellers use to ensure they cover their bottom line. Many private Sellers have their auctions finish on weak trading days and at a.m. times when most are asleep, however even Power Sellers have a weakness, a weakness they despise - selling at cost or below!!!!!!! Example of Power Sellers making sure they rarely lose on okay with any item they list. Eg: MP4 player costs the Power Seller $18.00 delivered (dropshipper includes free shipping), he lists at .99cents because that's the possible lowest starting cost in relation to how much okay charge to list his item so they never sell at a loss they state postage at $17.00, this is the exact amount to cover his cost, some list a dollar or two higher to cover okay fees - some list a dollar or two lower as they find their items get bids and the ones that don't they will only re-list (and if it sells the second time around their listing fees are then credited back to them - this is the important clause that all Power Sellers despise - Dreaded Tuesdays) - so they keep their starting price as low as possible to avoid paying one dollar more than they have to in okay fees and they never increase postage past the point of cost when using this rule as they wil begee overpriced and even at .99cents their end selling price is not gepetitive. Extremely Important: Dropshipping Power SellersHighly Successful Power Sellers that dropship would rather sell 100 items that they will never see, handle or touch and make $2.00 profit on them for a total of $200 profit than endeavour to make $5.00 profit on each quick turn over item and end up not selling them at all, all they achieved is having to pay re-list fees if item does not sell second time around. They are Power Sellers for a reason - THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL okay SELLERS.okay are currently working on new regulations to avoid Power Sellers and all Sellers for that matter from Postage Loading. Many okayers will welgee this new regulation and it will be interesting to see how the Chinese Sellers adjust to these new regulations, Chinese or Hong Kong based Sellers are notorious for loading their items with very high postage costs eg: actual cost of shipping say $4.00 for a pair of ear-rings that they will charge up to $99.00 in Shipping. Many of us will have received our item with a postage receipt of say $4.00 when in fact we paid $35.00!!!!Regarding low profit on each item and high turn over of items:This is why all large volume sellers start every single auction at .99cents and any high price ticket item that is eg: $300.00 is a "BUY IT NOW ONLY". If you are new to okay then the next time you are browsing remember this little lesson and look at the PowerSeller with 34 pages of items listed and all will have a starting price of .99cents with a postage rate that is not that of what Shipping gepanies will charge to deliver it and the high ticket priced items will be buy it now. YOUR WEAPON TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST POWER SELLERS THAT POSTAGE LOAD!ALL POWERSELLERS USE TURBO LISTER - THEY HAVE NO CONTROL OF WHEN THEIR AUCTIONS FINISH!IF YOU WANT TO FIGHT BACK AND SAVE HEAPS OF $$$ THEN READ ON!Very Important Note:Search items with only 10 minutes remaining on TUESDAYS between 3PM - 11PM these are the items that slip through without any bids because the Power Seller had no control as to when his listings finish due to using Turbo Lister - you can buy these items at the cheapest possible price and instead of the Power Seller re-listing them YOU CAN RE-LIST THEM! If you choose to re-sell it and make a profit - ALWAYS ENSURE you start them on a Wednesday with either the 3 or 10 day option which will ENSURE YOUR ITEM WILL FINISH SATURDAY 450% more traffic between 11am 3pm Saturdays.SIMPLY PUT:TUESDAY 3PM - 11PM SEARCH ITEMS WITH ONLY 10 MINS REMAINING!BUY ITEMS THAT SLIP THROUGH DUE TO FINISHING ON TUESDAY (THE QUIETEST NIGHT OF THE WEEK ON okay).Carry out your research and only search the products that you are interested in purchasing as you will find there are thousands of items finishing with only 10 minutes to go.INSTEAD OF POWER SELLER RE-LISTING ITEM YOU BUY IT BELOW COST - YOU LIST IT! YOU MAKE THE PROFIT!Remember choosing the 10 day option on a Wednesday you are assured of having the listing active and running for two Saturdays! (10 day option) Saturdays between 11am 3pm has 450% more traffic than any other time. Also listing on Wednesdays ensure you will be on page one of the listings pages on the final Saturday which means greatly increased sales due to the high volume of okay buyers on that day.You will always sell more items on a Saturday so ensure all your listings are active for two Saturdays instead of just one. You get double the value out of okay as you are only paying listing fees once and get to have all your auctions finish on a Saturday which means you will be on page one when buyers search. This little tip alone will save you heaps of money over time and increase your sales dramatically due to having them finishing on a Saturday. I wish I had of known this many years ago, I would have saved hundreds maybe thousands of dollars in listing fees and re-listing fees due to my items finishing on a Tuesday for example (the worst day of the week). Finishing on say a Tuesday dramatically reduces the chances of obtaining a high final auction price. Many buyers will bid against each other on a Saturday! The more bidders on the final day of auction means more money obtained for your item. You can now see why it is so important to have your listings finishing on a Saturday.Eg: Real Estate Auctions are always conducted on Saturdays / Sundays Why? - Due to many more potential bidders on a weekend for Home and Property Auctons - greater number of bidders means HIGHER FINAL AUCTION PRICES!
